The Search is on for performers in ABBA spoof musical
Cheshire based event company, Communicado is casting the ABBA spoof musical, ‘MAM, I’M ‘ERE!’, and looking for new performers to join the troupe.
MAM, I’M ‘ERE!’ is a hilarious, feel-good, 70’s-based romantic, musical comedy featuring ABBA’s greatest hits. Simon Plumb, the show’s writer, who also produces the legendary Lymm Rugby Panto, said, “I am looking for a young, male lead and a support female who are in their twenties, and a chorus line.
“This is a great opportunity for aspiring amateur actors, comedians and singers to perform in a unique musical comedy at the Altrincham Garrick, a wonderful theatre. I anticipate a superb atmosphere in a show where the audience laughs and sings along all night.”
The MAM storyline is based on a young school girl in Liverpool who falls in love with her school sports teacher and local rugby player. Her ‘Mam and Dad’ run a local Drag Queen club and strongly disapprove of the relationship
Auditions are to be held in Altrincham at the beginning of March. If you would like to audition for a part in MAM, I’M ‘ERE! please email think@communicadocreative.com or call Siobhan Thornbury at Communicado on 01925 755590.
